Us
ORNAMENTAL FISH DISTRIBUTORS is
located within 10 minutes from the Miami International
Airport, which is very convenient for Receiving
and Dispatching shipments.
The warehouse facility is 11,000 square feet and
is equipped with 984 aquariums plus other containers
and a mini water treatment plant. We can stock
up to 1400 cartons of Fish without overcrowding.
Shipments are sent on a weekly basis to customers
in USA, Japan, Hong-Kong, and, the United Kingdom.
The company is managed by Michael Rambarran V.P.,
and several members of the Rambarran family are
involved in the daily operations. Harry Rambarran
keeps a continuous watch on the entire operation
and co-ordinates imports with our South American
suppliers. Most of these exporters have become
very close friends and our shipments arrive in
Miami on schedule every week.
Harry Rambarran is a pioneer in the Aquarium Fish
industry and has been involved in the trade since
1952. During that year he started to export fish
from British Guyana (Now Guyana) and he is still
very active at ORNAMENTAL FISH DISTRIBUTORS, INC.
His experience in handling tropical fish is invaluable
and is a tremendous asset to the company. His
son Michael is following closely in his footsteps
and is continuously acquiring more experience
in the Fish business.
